Another adventure with @UWI_StAugustine field practicum yesterday - we searched Little Tobago’s trails to mark & measure these hermit crabs (Coenobita clypeatus). We’ll be returning next weekend to recapture so stay tuned! 🐚🦀

Here’s a neat shot from last night’s turtle patrol. This brave mom spent at least 20 mins digging her nest and then another 15 laying 150-200 eggs! These guys will hatch in ~6 weeks and return to the water in a pretty treacherous journey! Best of luck to them!! 🐢🏝@ERICTobagoWI
