Some have called out Rota’s leadership on anti-racism issues in the past- he should go. But remember this anger when it comes to defending streets named after men who took part in the selling and killing of black people as well. Let’s be consistent.

This mistreatment of migrant workers is unfortunately not new. Officials just haven’t been listening - well now there is video evidence, let’s see what happens next because there are many more farms like this one.

Why isn’t there more outrage about this? We took Ukrainian and Syrian refugees into our homes. Why isn’t there an effort to do the same here. Asylum seekers flee for security. If we can’t take care of them close the borders until the levels of govt get their act together.

…have received numerous emails about the increase in substance abuse and violence. My kid @ 10 had some OD in front of him. He’s had a beer can thrown at his head. Our neighbor was assaulted in her lane last week. I support SIS but isn’t the point to keep user & community safe?

I live here-my kids school is 100 metres from the south Riverdale health center -it’s a SIS but the amount of drugs and violence happening on their property and not inside does not feel safe for anyone. Sadly many in this community saw this coming. @PaulaFletcherTO &SRCHC…..
