🇳🇱 Stan Godrie (31) ends his cyclocross career after this season. The past years he combined CX with working in a bike shop. "I've tried to make the step to the top 15 but unfortunately I didn't make it." As U23 Godrie won bronze at Worlds behind Vanthourenhout and Sweeck.

Congrats to @maghroch on the Top 10 today! It’s super impressive to see top level athletes realize when they are depleted, re-boot, create a plan for a comeback and execute that plan to a very high level all in the span of a short 4 month season. Professionalism at its finest!

@racing_h Also, hasn’t she always been unfairly criticized for this her whole career? I think she’s allowed to be herself. She’s never been expressive in that way. It doesn’t mean she’s not happy or it’s not important for her. Everyone is different.
