This morning, Liam Mulligan (Y8), was invited into our staff briefing to celebrate his fantastic achievements in MMA. Liam represents England and this summer, achieved Silver in the MMA World Championships in Thailand. Congratulations, Liam. We are so proud of you.

Yesterday we had our first Prefect meeting. I was so proud of how these individuals conducted themselves. Our prefects will soon be representing our school at Edge Hill University for a technology event ran by DELL. 🎉

We’ve had a fantastic day today as year 7, 8 and some year 9 students took part in our ‘Fun Run’, in support of the #kNOwKnifeCrime campaign. Huge thank you to Mrs Foley & Miss Low for all their organisation. Can anyone spot Mr Blake? 👀 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️

Today in Year 7 we held interviews with those hoping to become a MHS Y7 Prefect. Mr Blake was blown away but the hard work and effort put into their posters they had to present and answers to Mr Blake’s Questions! 👏

So proud of this group of Y7 boys. Yesterday they explained how they won on STEM day last week to our all staff briefing. They spoke with such enthusiasm and excitement. We were so proud! 🤩

Mrs Corrigan and Mrs Stewart took 6 of our Year 7’s to a local bookshop and to a cafe for a hot chocolate. Well done for your fantastic work in Lexia! 📚🎉

We are delighted that our catering company OCS has awarded Cheryl from the Sixth Form canteen with the ‘You’re A Star’ award as part of their Academy Education Star of the Month award for December 2023. Well done Cheryl - staff & students are lucky to have you @Maghull6thForm

An amazing afternoon at Liverpool FC Academy for our Y7/8 pupils. Thank you to former student Ted Smith for inviting us. Students played in a tournament refereed by U18 players, toured the AXA training centre, met players & staff. Truly an unforgettable experience for us all⭐️
