Are you a fan of the band BTS? You may have seen a teaser video last month for the band's new album, "Arirang," which shares its name with a beloved Korean folk song. The video alluded to the first recording ever made of that song, a nearly 130-year-old wax cylinder preserved here at the Library. 🧵

The National Library of Korea will hold an exhibition of "BTS's Bookstore" from March 20 to April 12 at the Knowledge Road in the basement floor. The exhibition under the theme of "Books that inspired BTS's music!" will introduce 47 pieces of Korean literature 📖 #BTS_ARIRANG

i know a few members of our book club that agree 🤭

one of the main reasons namjoon's ways of analysing human experiences are so interesting is because he reads outside the mainstream. in today's algo age where everything tends to be homogenized, finding and reading books on your own is the only way to access new(ish) thoughts.

Being a reader is hard… I wanna reread my favorites, I wanna read the new releases, I wanna get through all the classics… honestly, I just wanna read every book ever written.
