@3xz4GpI18C6920 texthooking site called kizuna where you log your reading and stuff
English

@aokoenthuasiast I started with core 2.3k but i jumped into reading and mining pretty much straight away. So my deck is basically one I made at this point.
English

just do your anki reps and immerse. you will hit a point where itll feel easier after around 4 months of focus and diligence. Dont be like the 出来損ない in the replies.

learning japanese is hard

Don't really see what you're trying to do with that. If you were to do that after every VN you finish, you'll have 10+ decks with weird intervals and dups all in. Let's say you keep on merging, you'll start adding words in the deck that shouldnt/doesnt need to be added and now your deck is cluttered and disorganized with also strange intervals lol
English

@magicrit @AtemiyaShinobu What if you did the deck after finishing the vn? Still probably better to individually mine words but it would be better than mindlessly reviewing them I guess
English

If you have a goal Vn to read whilst learning Japanese and you want to have the smoothest experience without delaying it for years, check if it's listed on jpdb.io/visual-novel-d…, They have their own version of Anki but you can also mine the words straight from the site.

English

well no if you're spending time downloading custom decks to 'prefire' works and managing them, that is infohazard and inefficient. You'll learn the words in that muramasa deck by just reading muramasa, you don't need to do a deck beforehand lol. So just read. The effort to payoff is not that justifiable. You'll memorize idk 鉱夫 when you read it so the payoff from getting it in the anki deck and memorizing it is just not that worth it. My point is that the only deck you need is a mining deck where you collect words as you read. This is efficient because you are 1. processing just like you're reading normally blessing yourself with this process' payoff 2. you 背後的にcreate your 1 and only deck sparing yourself from needless infohazard.
English

@KichikuX @TheHexpest you couldve explained this way quicker by just saying 判る=判明する and 解る=理解する lol
日本語

@TheHexpest There's also 解る
解る for this one is like,
You understand Japanese
The meaning, nuance, etc of Japanese language
Nothing wrong to use 分かる
It's more general and works the same
The 2 Kanji I mentioned just emphasizing something
