Saw this last night. Wild film. I was extremely uncomfortable the whole time because I just can’t take cringe very well. I think I curled up into a ball during one particular scene. I liked it but I don’t think I can watch it again.

10 years on hardware should be the cut off, but application support =/= as operating system support which I think many people confuse. I'm not going to run Brave on a 15 year old thinkpad, but Pale Moon or Libewolf maybe? If they want the old hardware to work, they should make projects or support projects that do so. It's good to put old hardware to use for very basic tasks such as email, documents, media player, etc. My family moved to Mint and after the initial setup they have had their eyes opened on how long their hardware can last. But to expect DaVinci Resolve to run on computers from 15 years ago is absurd.

Insisting that open source software must continue working on 15+ year old computers is actively holding back a community that's already spread thin. It's okay for projects to say "we don't care about hardware more than N years old". You can just do this.

Last year was the hardest year of my life. It had me question “why” to God constantly. Despite this, God felt like the only thing that kept me going. Even if I couldn’t understand why these things were happening, I trusted His plan for me. It’s still not easy, but things have gotten better and His plan for me has gotten clearer. Thank you for dying for our sins and thank you for the life You’ve given me. Happy Easter everyone!
