@Intrepid_Tautog Goad is great. Too much goad is boring. Being forced to attack a bit keeps the game going, but you don't want to not have choices.

What are folk's opinions on Goad in Commander? I really like how it speeds up games, but I've heard many players dislike it.

Rules Question: If I attack with both of these creatures, the 1/1 will end up as a 3/3 (it'll get two +1/+1 counters) if I resolve the Mentor trigger first, right?

@Cathaoir1 I was looking for a connection between the cards. Would they fit in the same deck? Why the Druid, that is less of a Commander card...gears where grinding....and only then I read the tweet itself and the lightbulb went on 😅

Sivriss / Hedge Shredder interaction question. I tap to sac/mill and lands get milled. Do they immediately go to the battlefield or do I have to wait until the player chooses to pay life or not?

@Book_Wurm_Nerd @tayzillamtg That is correct. Only the wording isn't perfect (not wanting to critique, but Magicese is very specific sometimes :)) Shredder triggers, but the trigger won't go on the stack until you fully resolve the Sivriss activation.

@tayzillamtg I believe Hedge Shredder will trigger *however* its ability won't resolve until Sivriss's full ability resolves on the stack so you have to wait to see if they pay life.

@covertgoblue @RarranHS Yes, it was *very* entertaining and fun! I usually enjoy the bit calmer episodes (in general in Commander gameplay) with just a bit of banter, but this chaos was ab-so-lu-te-ly wonderful. Having a first time Commander player in was great!
