As part of our Ghana Month celebrations, we hosted a vibrant and engaging makeup training session that equipped our dedicated staff with practical, hands-on skills in beauty and personal grooming. It was particularly inspiring to see the CEO of the Ghana Enterprises Agency, Ms. Margaret Ansei, take an active role during the session, personally engaging participants and offering words of encouragement that energized the room. Beyond the learning experience, the session created a space for creativity, confidence-building, and self-expression. It served as a reminder that empowerment also lies in nurturing talent and unlocking new opportunities, even within the workplace. At the Ghana Enterprises Agency, empowering our people remains central to our mission. We believe that when individuals are equipped with relevant skills and given the opportunity to grow, they are better positioned to innovate, contribute meaningfully, and thrive. #ResettingGhana#ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA

At the Traditional Leaders and Stakeholders Forum held at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Constituency, there was a remarkable convergence of parliamentary leadership, traditional authorities and development actors, reflecting a shared understanding that sustainable national progress must be anchored in collaboration, inclusivity and collective responsibility. I was pleased to join this important deliberation which rightly focused on redefining the role of traditional leadership within modern governance structures, while ensuring that community-driven priorities remain aligned with our broader national development agenda. I strongly believe that platforms like this are essential for deepening participatory governance, promoting social cohesion and creating solutions that are truly people-centered. My warm congratulations to my dear sister the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Hon. Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor for putting together such a timely and impactful forum which included the commissioning of MP’s office to attend to all concerns of her constituents. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA

In the Walewale District, North East Region, I led the distribution of start-up kits to 150 young women who have completed training in the rice processing value chain, reinforcing a fundamental truth: targeted support, when thoughtfully delivered, unlocks opportunity and restores hope. This initiative, implemented by the Ghana Enterprises Agency in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation under the Harnessing Agricultural Productivity and Prosperity for Youth (HAPPY) Project is about creating sustainable pathways to economic participation. Through this project, young people are positioned as emerging agripreneurs and active contributors to Ghana’s agricultural transformation. In my remarks to the participants, I emphasized the importance of stewardship. These start-up kits are not just tools; they are productive assets. When protected, valued and strategically utilized, they become instruments for income generation, enterprise growth and community development. When opportunity meets preparation, communities rise. I am immensely proud of these participants. My heartfelt appreciation goes to the GEA team, our trainers and our partners on the HAPPY Project especially Agri-Impact Limited for their dedication and collaboration. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA

I joined distinguished guests at the maiden Ashanti Expo 2026, an experience that began early in the morning as I made it a point to be at the premises from sun rise, ensuring that our Ghanaian enterprises were fully set up and ready to showcase their best. Walking through the exhibition space, I witnessed something powerful: Ghanaian businesses showing up with boldness, innovation and a genuine hunger to grow. This was a clear declaration of opportunity and ambition. At the Ashanti Expo 2026, the Ghana Enterprises Agency directly supported 80 businesses to showcase their innovative products and take bold steps toward growth and market expansion. I also had the honour of delivering a goodwill message, reaffirming our commitment to building resilient enterprises and unlocking opportunities for our MSMEs. The momentum from Ashanti Expo 2026 is real, and my commitment is to help sustain it, because when our small businesses grow, Ghana grows. My sincere appreciation to the President His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, Asantehene His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Minister of Trade Agribusiness and Industry, Honourable Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare and Ashanti Regional Minister my dear brother Dr. Frank Amoakohene as well as all organisers, partners and stakeholders whose leadership and collaboration made this impactful platform a success. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA #AshantiExpo

From the opening remarks by the Director General of GI-KACE, Ing. Dr. Collins Yeboah-Afari, to the insights from the Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, one message stood out clearly at the #FEMITECH2026; when women gain digital skills, the impact is felt across every sector of our economy. During my session on “Skills, Startups and Sustainability: From ICT Expertise to Viable Tech Ventures,” I challenged women in tech to go beyond mastering skills. Skills alone are not enough, build enterprises around your competence. I also shared practical steps for transforming technical expertise into sustainable, growth-oriented businesses that can contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s economic transformation. At the Ghana Enterprises Agency, we are committed to partnering with tech institutions and innovation ecosystems to support women through enterprise development, business formalization, and access to markets. The future of Ghana’s digital economy must be built with women at the center and we must all play a role in making it happen. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #GiveToGain #WomenInTechGhana #IWD2026

I had a productive meeting with the leadership of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, Ghana as our previous conversations and standard discussions materialise into a signed strategic partnership between DVLA and the Ghana Enterprises Agency. Through this agreement, DVLA will operate out of selected GEA Business Resource Centres to improve accessibility, streamline service delivery, and bring key services closer to communities across Ghana. For MSMEs, this translates to faster, more convenient access to licensing support. At GEA, we are focused on turning conversations into concrete results. This collaboration shows how institutional partnerships can advance inclusion and service excellence. Together with my brother and colleague CEO Julius Neequaye Kotey, we will continue to demonstrate strongwill and passion to bring services closer to citizens across the country. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA #MSMEs

It was a special moment at the office as I received a beautiful birthday gift from Deputy CEO Mr. Prince Mahmoud D. Beyond the gesture, it reflects the strong team spirit, mutual respect and shared purpose we continue to build. I appreciate the prayers, love and gifts received from family, friends and staff of the Ghana Enterprises Agency. I am grateful for the kindness and even more grateful for the support that I receive from the team I lead.

Economic forums derive their true value not from the conversations we have, but from the commitments we make and deliver on. That principle shaped my approach and that of the Ghana Enterprises Agency delegation throughout Day Two of the Kwahu Business Forum. The day featured the President His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s address and inspection of the various vendor stands, where Ghanaian enterprises showcased their products and innovations, reinforcing the importance of connecting enterprise potential with national leadership. What stood out was a private sector that is more sophisticated, ambitious, and ready to scale. Our role at the Ghana Enterprises Agency is to match that readiness with the right institutional support, turning potential into performance. GEA will continue to ensure that the enterprises we represent are not merely visible, but strategically positioned, connected to markets, decision makers and opportunities that drive measurable growth. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA #KwahuBusinessForum

At this year’s Kwahu Business Forum, I led a delegation from the Ghana Enterprises Agency to take our mandate to the frontlines, for impactful interactions. I engaged with policymakers, connected with entrepreneurs and industry players; my focus at the forum was to forge strategic partnerships, unlock new opportunities and position Ghanaian MSMEs for accelerated growth. We went beyond words; supporting businesses to showcase their products, gain visibility, access key markets, and build relationships that translate into real growth. At the GEA, we are not just promoting products; we are unlocking opportunities, building networks, creating momentum, and propelling Ghanaian enterprises further, faster and onto the global stage. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #MSMEs #KwahuBusinessForum

I will be joining distinguished thought leaders as a panelist at the Kwahu Business Forum, speaking on “Transitioning to the Formal Sector: Compliance, Reforms and Scaling Strategies”. Formalization is more than compliance, it is the key to growth, access to finance and long-term sustainability for our MSMEs. At the Ghana Enterprises Agency, we remain committed to making this journey simpler and more rewarding for every entrepreneur. Looking forward to a great conversation. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA #KwahuBusinessForum

Today, I pause to reflect on the journey so far, a path marked by purpose, growth and the grace of God. Each year has brought its own lessons, shaping not only who I am, but also the impact I am privileged to make in the lives of others and in service to our nation. I am deeply grateful for how far I have come, not by my strength, but by God’s unfailing guidance. I remain confident that His purpose for my life continues to unfold in ways greater than I can imagine. With every passing year, my desire grows stronger, to do more, to serve better and to contribute meaningfully to the development of our society and country. On this special day, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has supported me along the way, family, friends, colleagues, mentors and all who have stood by me directly and indirectly. Your encouragement, trust, and belief in me have been invaluable and I do not take it for granted. As I celebrate my birthday today, my prayer is for renewed strength, wisdom and grace to continue on this journey. May the years ahead be filled with even greater impact, deeper purpose and meaningful contributions that leave lasting positive change. Here’s to growth, service, and a future anchored in faith and purpose. #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo

Adding to the vibrant celebration of our Ghana Month were captivating displays of traditional dances from across Ghana’s diverse ethnic groups. I witnessed staff bring culture vividly to life through energetic performances, from the graceful Adowa of the Ashanti Region to the dynamic Agbadza of the Volta Region, the spirited Borborbor of the Ewe communities, and the rhythmic Bamaya of the Northern Region each telling powerful stories of history, identity, and community. Adorned in authentic regalia and moving to the pulsating beats of indigenous drums, participants ignited an atmosphere of excitement and pride, perfectly complementing the culinary showcase and celebrating the depth and richness of Ghana’s heritage. Congratulations to all Ghana Enterprises Agency staff for joining in this celebration and our deepest appreciation to Tasty Tom Ghana for the support. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA

I was delighted to host the Member of Parliament for South Dayi Constituency and Majority Chief Whip, Honourable Dafeamekpor Etse Rockson Nelson @etsedafeamekpor , as staff of the Ghana Enterprises Agency climaxed our month-long Ghana Month celebration with an exciting inter-directorate Tasty Tom Ghana cooking competition yesterday on our premises. Each directorate showcased the rich diversity of our nation by preparing traditional dishes representing Ghana’s regions, with staff proudly dressed in traditional attire reflecting the regions they represented. It was truly a memorable moment of unity, cultural expression and shared pride in our Ghanaian heritage, an experience that continues to reinforce the importance of celebrating our identity while strengthening bonds within the Agency. #ResettingGhana #ForGodAndCountry #Magoo #GEA #GhanaMonth

I welcomed Mr. Alcides Luis and Ms. Bamzi Teyegaga from the Angolan Embassy in Ghana for a deliberation on promoting MSMEs through collaboration. The Angolan Embassy officials were at the Ghana Enterprises Agency for preliminary discussions on behalf of the Instituto Nacional de Apoio às Pequenas e Médias Empresas (INAPEM), Angola’s foremost institution mandated with the promotion and development of micro, small, and medium enterprises.
