Yes, we Indians are just surviving it. A man who visited Paris and Zurich said they are living a life with clear air and clean, quality infrastructure. They are living their dream life. In India, we are just surviving with a hope for a better tomorrow since decades. What's wrong with the politicians and bureaucrats who always run behind collecting taxes, never focusing on improving living conditions? The majority of cities in India have AQI levels in the danger zone, and most rivers are contaminated with pollutants. Sometimes I feel like there is no difference if we don't have any politicians or the whole parliament in India because I don't see any improvement in crucial aspects like the environment, air quality, water safety, healthcare, education, and food safety. What is the use of having state and central governments when they can't even improve the basic things for the people of the country?

We need to have a better civic sense and a cleaner country not because we have to prove anything to the outside world or because we have to live up to an image. We need to have a better civic sense because practice of discipline there,l reflects in other aspects of our growth and development, and because, there is grace in living with integrity and dignity.
