Am I wrong in thinking Ruan Mei’s writing is too nuanced for Twitter?
There’s no way the two camps here are either Ruan Mei is a sociopathic mad scientist wanting to become an eldritch god or she’s simply quirky and autistic. 🙂↕️

like. Her having this grand scheme doesn't make her this terrifying monster. She's still a normal human at the end of the day with friends she hangs out with. These two facets of her character CAN coexist AND should be celebrated instead

hsrtwt genuinely cannot handle her character dawg. completely ignoring and absolving her morally ambiguous and more alarming behaviour/lore implications, even though it's still part of her as a character. it's okay for your favourite character to not be good people!

Ruan Mei is genuinely the most terrifying character. She is trying to dissect every single path and make herself an Aeon. She can bring people back from the dead from literally nothing and has sociopathic tendencies. She has ALL of the makings of a FINAL BOSS.
