Hospitals are tripling CRRT meaning 1 nurse to 3 critically ill patients on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy, an assignment that is normally 1:1 due to the level of acuity. Worse however, QUADRUPLING ECMO. 4 patients on what is essentially “life support” to ONE ICU NURSE.

Colorado (For obvious reasons, I'll be watching this closely) Look at CASES SHARP rise now underway BUT It has yet to lead to similar increase in HOSPITALIZATIONS

The most rapid increase is among children -- especially among middle and high school students.
