In celebration of @MakeUK_ National Manufacturing Day, we've opened our doors to inspire the next generation of talent and demonstrate the breadth of jobs available and the variety of pathways to a career here. Such is the popularity of our offering, we had to extend the day to a week-long programme, welcoming schools, colleges and local job centres on site to showcase modern manufacturing. The feedback is remarkable: "Some have never been more engaged with a topic. You managed to reach a group that can be notoriously hard to engage—sometimes they sit quietly, staring and seeming uninterested—but you clearly captured their attention, and the impact is evident."
