Yesterday’s Eurostar adventure: after the scramble, I finally secured a seat on train 9007, leaving Paris Gare du Nord at 07:12. Heard ppl were stuck overnight on blocked trains .. let’s hope it goes smoothly today. @Eurostar

@Eurostar Just got into the train (07:12 from Paris to London). Huge queues, things running very slowly. There is no way this train leaves on time. Let’s see how delayed it will be. @Eurostar

@olivermiocic I reckon the majority will be cancelled there's 2 of last nights departures stuck near the tunnel 1 has been rescued by the diesel locos that work on HS1 while the other is in thr process of being rescued

Eurostar disruption is continuing for a second day with passengers on multiple trains stranded overnight on the UK side of the Channel Tunnel. The first trains to Paris and Brussels/Amsterdam from London St Pancras have been cancelled.
