We are sad to announce the death of the craftsperson and artist Alison Erridge in Co. Clare. In the 70s, 80s and 90s she brought organisations together to resource the development of Irish craft in an extraordinary way. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam @DCCIreland @lucyerridgeart

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Peter Donovan, master silversmith and Irish Craft Hero. He was an active and avid supporter of design and craft and a regular visitor to exhibitions here at the National Design & Crafts Gallery. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
