On the 26th August 2024 we were given the devastating news that our granddaughter, Pippa, had a brain tumour. 1 month away from her second birthday. She was taken by ambulance to Birmingham Children’s hospital to their neurology ward.

It’s Halloween and Pippa may be having another round of treatment it’s not stopping her from having a fun day. We then endured a heart breaking week as Pippa had two surgeries and three days in intensive care last night Pippa had to have further relatively minor surgery but she is now back on the high dependency ward. So grateful for the skill and care of the neuro team again

Another great day firing at @LlangollenRail today, a little challenging at times but thanks to great teamwork we all got through it. I've had the pleasure of a new cleaner today as well showing him the ropes and introducing him to the footplate. Its been a really good day👍

Proud of our podcast Partygate getting a couple of awards last night. It took a lot of work to pull it together with lots of wonderful people playing their part but centre to all of that was itv’s robust journalism. Very cool that it got recognised.

I'm currently the target of a significant scam operation on Twitter involving 100s of profiles . They come in the form of paid-for adverts claiming that I made money from cryptocurrencies , then using my fake 'endorsement' to encourage others to invest too . . . For the avoidance of doubt , these are all scams . Please RT ! And @ElonMusk @Safety - please fix this !
