Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh began his first press conference of the season by calling out the NCAA for their lack of revenue sharing with the athletes. “I don't understand how the NCAA can continue to pull in millions off [of students] across the country without sharing revenue… I want them [players] to be treated with the respect and dignity that they deserve.” Currently, players do NOT get any money from NCAA revenue. Rather, their NIL money comes from boosters/donors/ads/alumni/etc. Obviously, this will cause immense problems down the line for college football as money will become the sole determining factor of where players will attend school. The NCAA definitely needs to address this issue before it’s too late.
