It shows what the tool can do — developers can set any custom requirements (1000+ followers, verified badge, etc.) to protect their own airdrop claims from Sybil attacks. There’s still no official Base airdrop — only exploration of a potential network token. Even if one happens, eligibility will most likely be based on on-chain activity on Base, not on X followers. Real guides for Base Verify recommend accounts with just 100+ followers. Don’t waste time or money farming fake followers because of this rumor.
