🚨Good morning. Quick question before you scroll… how your mama used to wake you up back then? Because mine no believe in gentle parenting at all. You go hear: “Prince! If I call you again ehn…” You never even open eye finish, next thing na blanket don fly one side. If that one no work, she go upgrade: “See this child o, you want to waste your life sleeping?” And somehow, that line used to carry spiritual power. Sleep go just comot instantly. Worst part? You go check time… 5:17am. No school till 8. And if you try complain? “You think say your mates are sleeping?” Which mates?? Who are these hardworking children wey never sleep?? Omo, those mornings built character but at what cost? Now nobody is shouting at me again… and I still wake up tired. Good morning once again. Abeg how your own mama dey wake you that time?
