Six years a slave, and then you slipped the yoke, Till Christ recalled you, through your captors cries! Patrick, you had the courage to turn back, With open love to your old enemies, St. Patrick: A Sonnet malcolmguite.wordpress.com/2026/03/17/st-…

@malcolmguite Sometimes you speak of depression but it's rare for survivors to open up. The pain I feel today is unspeakable and the misery of psychosis means every little comment is personal. It's torture and I reject your God while needing mine. My God does not force me into a hole.

A thanks to those who stayed and did the raising, Who buckled down and did the work of two, Whom governments have mocked instead of praising, Who hid their heart-break and still struggled through, Mothering Sunday: a sonnet malcolmguite.wordpress.com/2026/03/14/mot…

At last, in spite of all, a recognition, For those who loved and laboured for so long, Who brought us, through that labour, to fruition To flourish in the place where we belong. Mothering Sunday: a sonnet malcolmguite.wordpress.com/2026/03/14/mot…

@ChurchTimes @malcolmguite Thank you for a wonderful, feel good article full of the joys of spring. You may say that social media is a very poor substitute for human interaction but it's good to know that you can enjoy fun on home turf in between your exciting travels. Here in Bath the sun is glorious.
