1) Break my fear of doing my own marketing.
2) Get more eyes on my work, and help people realize I've got something cool going here.

Every time I try a marketing push, I close my eyes, slap the keyboard + hope that what comes out is a facsimile of a post.

This is a good joke with a touch of truth in it - we can't confidently reconstruct early cataphract armor, but my very rough estimates are that the cataphracts may have represented something like a quarter of all of the metal arms and armor in the Seleucid army at Magnesia.

There is current scholarly discussion on just *how* rich the Seleukids actually were (i.e., levels of monetization), but given they had cataphracts they were at least wealthy enough to buy the horse armor DLC.
