Maps Collection In this creative book, children use their knowledge of compass points, grid references, symbols & keys to solve puzzles based on maps of fairytale locations. Children will love consolidating their map skills through these challenging activities.

Maps Collection We have several books that can be used to teach map skills across the primary age range in our library. Each includes an additional document showing a suggested progression. Me on the Map is the first book, suitable for introducing EY or KS1 to maps.

I know it the holidays but knowing I’m not going back has seriously impacted my sleep (positively). I didn’t realise the impact the 3am worries were having on me. 😴

@OneAboutSue @TeachLeadAAli I hear you. Not just residential, there are plenty of 'little' trips throughout the year too! 💸💸

@TeachLeadAAli Nope. Nothing. After the usual household bills and then Childcare, swimming, gymnastics, music lessons and Scouts, there’s not much space capacity in my salary! DS in starting Y7 in Sept and there’s some residential every academic year to factor in now too.

Without revealing who you are etc - I’m just interested, do you save a fixed amount a month for your child/children? Follow up questions too.

@MissT1302 I think they key could be looking in advance. I did mine over a month before the renewal date. I surprisingly got mine cheaper, and so did my partner. Perhaps just lucky too.

Has anyone else found that car insurance is about £200 more expensive than when they last renewed? Every quote on compare the market (and my renewal quote from current insurer) are so much more expensive 😩
