The hardest psychological pill you will ever have to swallow is realizing you are a victim of the "Mirror Fallacy."
You keep getting betrayed, used, and disappointed by people, and you sit around wondering why you have such bad luck. You don't have bad luck. You have a massive projection problem.
You keep looking at other people and expecting them to have your heart, your work ethic, and your sense of loyalty. You assume that because you would never lie to them, they would never lie to you. Because you would give them your last dollar, they would do the same.
People do not operate with your moral compass. Stop projecting your own character onto people who have repeatedly shown you they operate on pure survival and selfishness. You are breaking your own heart by expecting lions to eat grass just because you are a vegetarian.

If you ever feel like someone is taking you for granted and you’re losing your self-respect, the fastest way to get it back is to distance yourself completely.
Don’t sit around hoping they’ll reach out. You’ve shown them enough weakness.
Be willing to burn bridges. Life is already hard, you don’t need extra stress.

When he died eight days ago, his face was everywhere. Every platform carried his photo. Everyone had something to say. The timelines were heavy with grief. For two days, it felt as though the whole country paused.
But eight days later, the noise has faded. His name is no longer on people’s lips. His image has been swept aside like dust in harmattan wind. Life has continued, as it always does. Only his family still sits with the real weight of it. Only they feel the ache that does not trend and does not expire.
Are we meant to mourn forever? But there is something sobering about how quickly the world moves on when a person dies. It reminds you that applause is brief, attention is fleeting, and the crowd does not stay long.
So laugh while your lungs are strong enough to carry it. Cry when you must. Love deeply and allow yourself to be loved in return. Travel if you can. Eat good food. Sit with friends and merry. Forgive quickly. Carry no hatred in your chest; it is too heavy for such a short journey.
Do that thing you have been postponing. Stop telling yourself “one day.” Help someone. Share what you have. Give, even if it is small.
All we truly have is now. The present hour. Make every second, minute, and hour count. Live your best life.

Streaming has made music feel cheap because it’s everywhere. Unlimited access changes how people treat things. When you can get anything at any time with no effort, you won’t attach much value to it. It's just reality.
So if J. Cole is going city to city selling CDs for $1 in person, that’s a calculated move. There’s a direct exchange happening. You’re not just pressing play and scrolling away. You’re standing there. You’re buying it from him. You’re leaving with something physical.
He’s not fighting streaming. He understands the system. He’s just not depending on only one channel to reach people. Relying on a single pipeline is careless.
And the move itself becomes attention. People post it. Platforms circulate it. The offline action still runs through the online machine.
Nothing emotional about it. It’s strategy.

J. Cole is really going city to city & selling physical CD’s for $1 each. 🔥 It takes 200-333 streams to make $1
