Everyone in D.C. is pocket-lining, career-climbing, selling favors, but Trump? He already had the money, the power, the fame. He walked into the fire when he didn’t have to. That’s what drives the swamp nuts—he’s not playing their little self-enrichment game, he’s burning his own time and empire to bulldoze theirs. So yeah, saying he’s in it for “his benefit” is laughable. If he wanted easy money, he’d be on a golf course, not in a knife fight with the Deep State.
