We’re not offended that you don’t want children. That’s your choice, and no one is trying to take that away from you. What offends men is when that personal choice turns into pressure on other women to do the same. If feminism is truly about choice, then it should respect all choices…including women who want to have families. Constantly pushing negative stories, videos, and tweets to discourage younger women from having children doesn’t feel like empowerment; it feels like influence. There are plenty of men who don’t want kids either. For example, my colleague is 53 and chose not to have children. He doesn’t spend his time online trying to convince other men to follow his path.why can’t yall move on with your choice? Everyone should be free to decide what works for their own life…without pressure, fear, or messaging that suggests one path is superior to another.

I’ve never seen a video of a man celebrating his divorce. Never seen a man set up ring light to announce his divorce and blame his wife. I’ve never seen a man talk about a ‘divorce glow-up.’ I’ve never seen a man celebrate putting his own happiness above his family. I’ve never seen a man proudly leave his marriage and family to ‘find himself.’ I rarely see men openly talk about stress related to mental load or emotional labor, especially as fathers. I’ve never seen a man leave a relationship because his partner didn’t keep him in his ‘masculine era.’ Why is it always women? Why is it always you? Why can’t you just move on silently like the man?

i used to live alone when i was a young bachelor... no real friends, no girlfriend, no partying, no clubbing. just me, by myself, growing in silence and compounding wealth. at first, it felt like peace to me but deep down, it was chaos i battled every single day. walking around my apartment, i longed for someone to talk to. waking up, i wished there was someone beside me. cooking, i wanted someone to share a meal with. watching football, i wanted to scream GOOAAALL with people by my side but there was no one. yes, i had money but i felt really lonely and depressed. truly, no amount of self love, hustle or self improvement can replace the simple human need to be seen, heard and valued. introversion or staying alone, if left unchecked, can kill slowly. my depression only started lifting when i began going out more and building real connections.
