This is the core unsolved problem of AI agents IMO. Not capabilities. Not cost. The reliability-creativity tradeoff. We're essentially hand-tuning tightropes and calling it "orchestration."

claude-4.6-sonnet: "close call" -> "knapper Ausgang" :/ claude-4.6-opus: "close call" -> "knappe Entscheidung" ✅ "for the love of Claude" -> "und um Claudes willen" ✅ so, as way too often, the most expensive solution seems just satisfactory.

claude-4.5-haiku: "For the love of Claude" becomde "und um Himmels willen" ("for the love of God"), which clearly alters the message a lot (and might be a little self-grandiose)

Using LLMs for translation, English to German. gemini-flash 2.5: "close call" becomes "knapper Anruf" (close phone call), instead of "knappe Entscheidung". So idiomatic translation doesn't work well there.
