Let’s be honest here the person who keeps reporting me to work for every little thing I post seems a very obsessed with me and it’s very stalker-ish and VERY creepy! And as soon as I find out who it is, I will be reporting them for stalking/harassment. 👍🏻

The salary you actually need to feel comfortable in the UK in 2026 has more than doubled in the last 15 years. In 2010, £35,000 was a solid graduate salary. You could rent decently, eat out, take a holiday, save a bit. In 2026, the equivalent number — same lifestyle, same level of comfort — is closer to £75,000. That's the difference between 'affording your life' and 'getting by.' £35K used to put you on the comfortable side of that line. £75K is now the entry point. Most people earning £45-£60K in 2026 are quietly running paycheck to paycheck, feeling vaguely confused about why a salary that sounds substantial doesn't actually go very far.

“Nobody wants to work anymore.” No, people are just tired of: • giving their whole life to a company that sees them as replaceable • working overtime like it’s a personality trait • getting “we appreciate you” instead of a raise • sacrificing weekends just to survive Monday • being loyal and still getting laid off in a random email People don’t hate work. They hate being exploited.

🚨 A message to ALL politicians: Grow up. Here’s what people actually want: ✅ To not be taxed to death ✅ Safe streets and safe communities ✅ Access to healthcare when needed ✅ A good education for our children ✅ Affordable housing ✅ The ability to retire with dignity ✅ A safety net if we fall on hard times ✅ The chance to build a better life through hard work People do not care about your endless ideological debates, petty point scoring and political theatre. They just want a country that works for the citizens of it. If you want our votes… …just do your jobs properly and deliver for the country. Sincerely, Every sane British Citizen.

no one talks about how draining it is when your mood constantly switches between "keep going, it will get better" and "i can't do this anymore, im about to give up." it's like living in emotional whiplash. one hour you're hopeful, the next you're spiralin

WORKING FROM HOME ARGUMENT I honestly can’t see the justification for making people return to the office if you are not customer facing/ front line staff You want people to pay excessive amounts on travel, waste hours travelling for what ? To sit next to you while you say 4 words all day. For those who don’t do their work, monitor them and tell them they have to attend the office 4 days a week for a PIP and you’ll see how quickly they’ll improve…. but if someone’s is hitting targets and doing their work, while making it easier to be a better mother or father or carer to elderly parents, by being present doing the school run, attending after school activities on time and getting a home cooked meal prepared for their family why stop that ??

Some of you take these jobs way too seriously 😭. Why are you snitching on coworkers, skipping breaks, coming in on your days off, and refusing to use your PTO or call out? Especially for jobs with little to no room for growth.

ADHD + anxiety is being terrified of discussions, arguments and/or confrontation because we can't keep our thoughts straight enough to verbally express them in a convincing manner. The moment we need to recall important details or facts our brains short circuit and even though we can "see" the detail we am trying to recall it gets unintelligibly blurry. So the end result is we have no confidence in our own thoughts and opinions all because they won't co out right.

Scientists confirm that ADHD brains struggle to start easy tasks because they require dopamine the brain does not produce on demand. The 4-minute task you have avoided for 9 days is not laziness. It is a structural activation deficit.

Hemos normalizado tanto el nivel de estrés diario que, cuando por fin tenemos una tarde tranquila, el cerebro nos convence de que seguramente se nos está olvidando hacer algo urgente. Ya ni siquiera sabemos cómo descansar en paz.

ADHD traits I still struggle with almost every day: 1. Starting tasks: I will do anything else to avoid it without even realizing it 2. Working memory: Walking into a room and forgetting why Im there 3. Time blindness: Somehow every task takes 3x longer than I expected 4. Emotional regulation: Any form of criticism feels like an extremely personal an attack.

If you call off sick, you are not leaving your coworkers short staffed. Your boss did that. They refused to hire enough employees, refused to plan for sick days, and refused to account for basic human needs in their calculations. That is not your fault. You deserve sick days.

We work 8 hours a day to enjoy 5 hours in the evening. We work 5 days a week to enjoy 2 days on the weekend. We work 48 weeks a year to enjoy 4 weeks of holiday. We work 45 years to enjoy 10 years in retirement. Then we wonder why we're all anxious and depressed all of the time.

In the last 18 years the ONLY sector in the UK that hasn't had 'efficiency cuts' are the billionaires. It's high time for Water bill freezes, Energy bill freezes, Food prices freezes, CEO pay freezes, Banker pay freezes... And if they don't like it they can be renationalised.

People with ADHD have what’s called an “interest-based nervous system.” They literally can’t force themselves to care about things that bore them. It’s not a choice. It’s not willpower. Their brains physically won’t produce the neurochemicals needed to engage unless something triggers interest, urgency, novelty, or challenge.

We've reached the point in the UK where working full time doesn't actually mean anything anymore. It used to mean stability. It used to mean you could afford a home, eat properly, maybe go away once a year and not panic if your car made a weird noise. Now it just means nothing. You wake up early, work all day, come home tired, and still somehow sit there wondering how you're going afford everything. Rent is ridiculous. Bills are constant. Food prices change depending on the mood of the supermarket. And wages? Basically frozen in time. You're not lazy. You're not bad with money. You're just trying to survive in a system where everything goes up except what you get paid.
