WORKING FROM HOME ARGUMENT I honestly can’t see the justification for making people return to the office if you are not customer facing/ front line staff You want people to pay excessive amounts on travel, waste hours travelling for what ? To sit next to you while you say 4 words all day. For those who don’t do their work, monitor them and tell them they have to attend the office 4 days a week for a PIP and you’ll see how quickly they’ll improve…. but if someone’s is hitting targets and doing their work, while making it easier to be a better mother or father or carer to elderly parents, by being present doing the school run, attending after school activities on time and getting a home cooked meal prepared for their family why stop that ??

Some of you take these jobs way too seriously 😭. Why are you snitching on coworkers, skipping breaks, coming in on your days off, and refusing to use your PTO or call out? Especially for jobs with little to no room for growth.

ADHD + anxiety is being terrified of discussions, arguments and/or confrontation because we can't keep our thoughts straight enough to verbally express them in a convincing manner. The moment we need to recall important details or facts our brains short circuit and even though we can "see" the detail we am trying to recall it gets unintelligibly blurry. So the end result is we have no confidence in our own thoughts and opinions all because they won't co out right.

Working memory: Walking into a room and forgetting why Im there 3. Time blindness: Somehow every task takes 3x longer than I expected 4. Emotional regulation: Any form of criticism feels like an extremely personal an attack.

If you call off sick, you are not leaving your coworkers short staffed. Your boss did that. They refused to hire enough employees, refused to plan for sick days, and refused to account for basic human needs in their calculations. That is not your fault. You deserve sick days.

We work 8 hours a day to enjoy 5 hours in the evening. We work 5 days a week to enjoy 2 days on the weekend. We work 48 weeks a year to enjoy 4 weeks of holiday. We work 45 years to enjoy 10 years in retirement. Then we wonder why we're all anxious and depressed all of the time.

In the last 18 years the ONLY sector in the UK that hasn't had 'efficiency cuts' are the billionaires. It's high time for Water bill freezes, Energy bill freezes, Food prices freezes, CEO pay freezes, Banker pay freezes... And if they don't like it they can be renationalised.

We've reached the point in the UK where working full time doesn't actually mean anything anymore. It used to mean stability. Food prices change depending on the mood of the supermarket. And wages? Basically frozen in time. You're not lazy. You're not bad with money. You're just trying to survive in a system where everything goes up except what you get paid.
