Today, the Israeli terrorist authorities abducted and held hostage Dr. Mahmoud Talal al-Najjar, a Palestinian doctor and academic, at the Kerem Abu Salem crossing. Dr. al-Najjar is the sole survivor of his immediate family. In October 2024, an Israeli terrorist airstrike on their home in Jabalia killed his wife, Alaa Salem, and their four children: Rinat, Yazan, Mohammed, and Amr, along with several other relatives. After enduring unimaginable loss, he spent months trying to secure a travel permit to continue his advanced medical specialization at the University of Tor Vergata in Italy. Today he was kidnapped by the murderers of his family.

Here are the men who spent their holiday on call - their Eid that should be with family, instead ready to run toward danger. To help. Donate now: chuffed.org/project/help-u… The Civil Defense workers of Gaza are among the first to arrive after airstrikes and mass casualty events. They dig through rubble with their bare hands, pull survivors from collapsed buildings, recover the injured, and carry the weight of unimaginable loss. They risk their own lives every day without asking for recognition. This Eid, The Sameer Project wanted to give just a little back to these first responders. So on May 29, we distributed 80 kilograms of meat to 80 civil defense workers across the Al-Qattan Center in Al-Tuffah and the Al-Ramal Center near the port, ensuring that each worker could take home one kilogram of meat to share with their family. This distribution cost $1,304 after 11% banking fees, and was just as small part of our meat distribution on this day for Eid. It is a small gesture compared to the sacrifices they make, but one made with deep gratitude and respect. To the men who continue to serve their communities through exhaustion, fear, and danger: We thank you. And we pray for your safety. The news articles that say finasteride or SSRIs "may" cause or increase the risk of sexual dysfunction and depression are such a minimization of what these drugs can actually cause: anhedonia, emotional blunting, cognitive dysfunction, bone-related issues, muscle wasting, physical changes, and much more. And to not emphasize that these changes can be permanent is a serious slap in the face to those suffering. I can't believe we're still at this stage of highlighting the absolute bare minimum of this harm.
