Most broke the other way and are at last weeks lows like the Indices. When things get tight a move is coming unfortunately it was the wrong way.

What I get out of 3WT, and a there’s a lot of them, isn’t so much it’s a screaming buy at ATH’s it’s that institutions are not selling after prior moves like the past Yr. That’s valuable info imo.

Done for the day. Just sitting and seeing how initial names act. Stops in $ or flat, time to sit for a bit. If these breakouts hold up on my WL they’ll be re-test in coming days/weeks to add more exposure, but I’m happy to ease in at lower risk spots for now Longs: $SMCI $YOU

@Qullamaggie Another way would be for the Nordic to publish that data base book (or books) he bragged about in one of his videos. The prototype looked amazing.

I took my loss on the DIA short in my personal account today pre-market when the CPI was released. Will revisit again later. Papercuts happen when you get it wrong.

I think you can short the Dow Jones Industrial Average DIA against your longs here especially if we get that last leg down to 26000 in the Dow.

Days like today don't happen in bull markets and it is by no means a signal to pile into stocks. In 2000-2002, the Nasdaq had 14 up days of 6% or more, and you would have been wrong 14 times if you thought the bottom was in.

Similarly, 2008-2009 saw 6 days with the Nasdaq up 6% or more, and you would have been wrong the first 4 times thinking the bottom was in.

When Leif Soreide won the US Investing Championship in 2019, he did so by excelling in the second half of the year. You can make your entire year in the last quarter in 2022 especially if we have another leg down.

Other than the outrageous prices, there's nothing wrong with the health care system. The problem is the food we eat, which would not meet the definition of food 75 years ago.

Still 100% cash and knee deep in a new startup.
I have either saved myself from many paper cuts or alternatively made myself much more rusty for when I come back to the markets once the charts dictate.
