A visit from fishmongering royalty, my mentor and lifelong Pimlico born street trader, Mr John Wright. My stall was in his family for over a 100 years and he can remember fish being delivered by horse and cart to the stall and trading during The 2nd World War!

Anyway, lovely wife rustled up a takeaway and a cake so all is not lost.

So my in laws have tested positive for Covid. They are both absolutely fine but obviously can no longer babysit the kids whilst myself and my wife go for dinner to celebrate my fiftieth. Small beer I know but the virus got our wedding as well and I’m fed up.

One of the local TS girls just got in a row with the Afghan man on the fruit and veg, she only went home, took her heels off put a pair of trainers on and came back and offered him out! Love this market and this city! Fruit and veg man a bit non plussed now!
