Have you seen Richard Osman’s new film The Thursday Murder Club on Netflix yet? It stars our wonderful Ambassador Sir Jonathan Pryce CBE. He plays the character Stephen, who is living with dementia. This is the third time Sir Jonathan has portrayed a character with dementia, something which has impacted his family. ‘While I tend not to base my portrayal on anyone in particular, I have lived through a loved one losing their memory. My beloved Aunt Mair had dementia at the end of her life.’ Seeing dementia on the big, and little, screen is so important in raising awareness.
