More discoveries along hidden pathways. I think the sunflower is one of Lewis Hobson’s aka @DurhamPaints street art installations around the Headland. The fish I think by another local artist @mandascats at the entrance to a Secret Garden nourished in an alley by local residents.

Cool moments. The air holding the tang of salt and seaweed. No thoughts or diversions. Just being there as the sun rises. A tremor of sunlight the brightness of fire. Seagulls soaring above light stunned whitecaps, buoyed by soft winds fretting the morning tide.
