It’s so easy to see what is going on. If both parents have to work to keep the lights on, and to afford to go on decent vacations, not having more kids is the easy choice. We keep complaining but if you don’t fix the affordability problem, this will continue. The only reason first generation immigrants have more kids is because shit is paid for. Second generation has a substantial lower count of kids. Same reason. This is a western world problem. We’re pricing ourselves out. Back ground doesn’t matter. It’s simply the price we pay for all the comforts.
