Wonder how many crypto KOLs are actually North Koreans getting paid in stables.
Hacking a crypto project is a time-intensive, high-reward activity.
But crypto KOLs can get stable deals generating $2k to $10k per month.
And I bet North Koreans would run multiple KOL accounts.

X’s big crypto update is underwhelming.
Sure, they’ll add connections to local brokerages in Canada and the US, but that’s not making X the Super App.
A crypto wallet with payments, trading, and tokenized stocks - that would be cool.
Instead of local integrations, X would be a global finance app.

Web2 security is often easily overlooked in DeFi, and this is an area where much more attention is needed.
Serious DeFi projects should aim to establish application security teams, appoint CISOs, and meet SOC 2 standards and beyond.
