Harry Maguire, who is English and Northern Irish… … has been demographically replaced in the England World Cup team by an African named ‘Addji Keaninkin Marc-Israel Guéh’ born in Ivory Coast. What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join? Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense. I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.

Why haven’t cinemas in the UK not pivoted to showing football n other sports? They’re always empty. Beer tap by the screen, home n away sections. Would be decent I reckon

Working-class children in Grimsby are losing faith in school, with many feeling they are being left behind before they even get a chance. “I just can’t do it” and “No, not really” show how some young people no longer believe they can succeed. John Ellis, who has run the Shalom Youth Centre for 54 years, says “the education system is totally failing the whole dream of young people,” as more children stop engaging with education altogether.
