Imagine this….Tomorrow, every AI coding tool disappears. No ChatGPT. No Claude. No Cursor. No GitHub Copilot. What happens to vibe coders?

I have an idea to create an AI marketing platform for end users. The idea is very simple: users create AI bots and assign tasks to them, such as posting, viewing, and analyzing metrics. These are the technologies I plan to use: Framework: NestJS Database: PostgreSQL & Prisma, BullMQ & Redis Auth: Passport & JWT, httpOnly Cookie AI: Vercel AI SDK Do I need anything else? I really need your advice.

openclaw vs hermes: what changed in 2.5 months last time we compared openclaw and hermes agents it was april 7th. but the recent conflict between these projects made us compare it again, and here's what we've found out growth from april 7 → june 23 (% change): • stars: openclaw 350k → 380k (+9%), hermes 28k → 201k (+618%) • forks: openclaw 70k → 79.6k (+14%), hermes 3.6k → 35.8k (+894%) • contributors: openclaw 1,500 → 2,476 (+65%), hermes 300 → 1,532 (+411%) • messaging platforms: openclaw 25+ → 50+ (~+100%), hermes 14 → 22 (+57%) • skills: openclaw 44k → 65.2k (+48%), hermes 70 → 86.5k (~+123,000% – so big it didn't fit the graph below 😅) observations: 1. hermes grew faster on every github metric in percentage terms, but it's growing off a much smaller base. the big percentages are catch-up, not overtaking 2. openclaw still leads in absolute terms on stars (380k vs 201k), forks (79.6k vs 35.8k), contributors (2,476 vs 1,532), and messaging platforms (50+ vs 22) 3. skills flipped. in april openclaw led by a wide margin (~44k vs ~70). by june hermes pulled ahead (86.5k vs 65.2k), consistent with its self-creating skill loop rather than manual additions 4. on token throughput hermes is clearly ahead: 1.03t daily vs openclaw's 148b, and 17t+ all-time vs 5.16t 5. openclaw's own growth was steady but unremarkable, with platform count the only metric to roughly double conclusion: openclaw remains larger by community and ecosystem size, but hermes is closing the gap fast and already leads on skills and token volume. the next 2.5 months will show whether hermes' growth rate holds or flattens as its base gets bigger follow @thehypedotnews for 24/7 ai news, analysis and breakdowns

Hermes Agent can now /learn from anything: feed it directories of any source material (code, API docs, manuals, PDFs, configs) and it distills a verifiable reusable skill

@steipete I've seen plenty of people jump ship from Google to OpenAI and Anthropic, but Google never even got the chance to fire them first. Lmao

Google fired the guy that made the google workspace cli, because he made the google workspace cli. Lucky me, Google can't fire me. gogcli.sh
Justin Poehnelt@JPoehnelt

Two months ago I was fired by Google for creating the Google Workspace CLI. It went viral, hit #1 on Hacker News, gained thousands of GitHub stars and many thousands of actual users in just a couple days. It was an incredible, confusing journey, from directors and leaders asking what they could learn from the tool to getting grilled by legal about why the Google logo and brand colors are on the Google Workspace GitHub code repositories. I think the cause was that Workspace and certain leaders (and projects) were afraid of being disrupted. But the fear wasn't specific to my CLI, it was a broader fear in what agents meant for Workspace. Either way, the irony of my termination was the announcement at Google Cloud Next two days before I was fired that an official Workspace CLI was coming. I want this out there because it is easier for me to explain my story and it is an experience I want to fully own. It's also part of my healing. Nearly 7 years at Google was an incredible opportunity for me and I was fortunate to have wonderful teammates and a manager that fully supported me through these last few months. Thank you.

@jasonzhou1993 i don't fully understand it, but for simple daily task commit and push, i do it myself to save time. It probably only makes sense for massive projects

🚨TECH DRAMA: OpenClaw vs Hermes Agent. so… the OpenClaw founder just posted about how strong their week was, dropped a humble (repost) brag abt hitting an NPM all time high then threw a lowkey punch at the competition. Peter Steinberg said “we created a non-profit whereas competitors are VC funded and have other agendas.” Teknium from Nous Research caught the stray and boi did he not hold back. bro said “do we live rent free in your head? we all know what non profit means to people at OpenAI, nothing at all. enjoy the millions you’re making from that non profit that hired you to pay you with VC money and an agenda.” the agent wars just got personal lmao. exciting week indeed bois!
