@dev0nnh well it worked for me. after attending a funeral, seeing other people overdose off it, i was done with anything that could harm me in that way. it finally scared me shitless, and maybe a depiction of that in a tv show will help someone else as well

@mulhollandmiya yes, she overdosed on a pill that contained lethal amounts of fentanyl (and it doesn’t even take much). she relapsed. she also murdered by Alamo bc he laced them. all things are true at once, what are y’all not getting about that?

rue was murdered. she didn't take a bunch of pills & OD. she took one perc for her pain after being dragged by a fucking horse. everyone talking about it's realistic as if she downed a bunch of pills but she didn't. ali knew this which is why he tested the pills.

And just so we’re clear, Rue died because the bottle Alamo left was the fent. What he gave her at the bar was the regular perc. He left it there because he knew she wouldn’t be able to resist. That’s what makes what he did even sicker. #euphoria

The reality is people are still going to do drugs, so if you are: TEST your shit. Sam also made a point to literally put product placement of a Defent fentanyl test kit in the show.
Abstention would be safest but in the meantime pls TEST!

@blue_4four yeah but cases in fent in weed are very rare more due to cross contamination then anything, it accounts being in more than 40-50% of street opioids and stimulants than anything

rue’s ending is very realistic. a lot addicts die of accidental overdoses. she didn’t even know she was taking fentanyl. my girl had no plans on leaving this earth! part of me feels like she got peace in death that she would’ve never found living.
