Imagine an international airport of the scale of Noida at Safai. What would have been the point of that? Fortunately, his proposal was rejected by the Centre. And then, with the efforts of the double-engine govt, the airport saw the light of day in record time.

If you have switched to PNG, give your LPG connection to another deserving citizen who does not have access to PNG. The process is hassle free and can be done from your home. The LPG cylinders will be picked up and refunds given by the distributor.

As Noida Airport becomes reality, it’s time to remember that there was one man who never wanted this airport in Jewar and did everything possible to derail the project. Akhilesh Yadav. As CM during 2012-17, he wanted to move the airport to first Firozabad and then Agra, closure to his family bastion, Mainpuri. Thankfully both proposals got rejected by Central Govt.

I own a decent car and have two daughters, one older and one younger. For short trips around town or up to 3-4 kilometers away, I often prefer to drive my scooter. The reason is not traffic but my dad, who used to drive me anywhere on scooty as in his life he could not afford to have a car. I understand how car can be very useful for family comfort. My dad has driven me to engg entrance exams on scooty in Delhi NCR and sometimes even farther. My kids enjoy the scooty rides even more btw. Once you keep your kids grounded they respect the hardwork and effort more than money. I do other things as well, even when I can buy them things I don't and let them earn it in some way, in this materialistic world I will keep them as detached as possible from luxury. I hope I am doing well for my kids, rest time will tell. Tell me your story, I'd love to read.
