Announcement against the federal submarine purchase In front of the Notre-Dame Street tent city in Montreal with author and activist @EnglerYves as well as Green Party of Québec Candidate Lina Zdruli.
Our message is clear: Canada cannot afford to spend $00 billion on submarines when people here at home are sleeping on the streets, eating in food banks and struggling to get by.
This submarine purchase works out to $2400 for each member of the Canadian population; an absurd amount of money.
If it were up to you, where would you spend this $100 billion dollars?

@EndWokeness If I had known about this, I would have robbed every cash business in Bowmanville on June 13 and escaped on foot at a leisurely to moderate pace.

WELCOME TO THE PARTY. A senior UN official is now accusing Hamas of obstructing Gaza aid, intimidating humanitarian workers, assaulting truck drivers, raiding distribution points and abusing relief operations for smuggling. Israel has been warning about this for years.

I am of two minds. I realise that as a function of my account size that interacting with Alex is likely unintentionally increasing his profile. My belief that sunlight is the best disinfectant for communism trumps this misgiving.
One of the primary reasons that so many young minds have been indoctrinated into Marxism in Canada is that they don't hear rebuttals to easily refuted claims in the classroom. Even when I was in Uni my classmates were afraid to speak their minds lest their grades be negatively impacted. This has only gotten worse over time. Dismantling bad ideas is as important as selling good ones.
It's also part of my job. I truly enjoy having conversations with people with whom I agree and disagree. I try and be fair to guests. I think it would be intellectually dishonest of me to only interview people who align with my political philosophy or religious beliefs. So far I haven't had much luck in getting high profile politicians to speak to me but I have appreciated the opportunity to interview those who will.
In terms of temperament, while Alex's ideas and policies are terrible (and proven to plunge billions of people into despotism and poverty), he will at least discuss his ideas in a quasi-respectful manner. It's a bad feature of our times that radical leftist politicians like Alex and Yves Engler are more inclined to do an interview with me than so-called Conservatives who do shady things like call me privately but won't publicly associate with me.
At the same time, both Engler and Tyrrell have implied or outright claimed that I am a racist or bigot to their followers. This is akin to putting a target on my back for their mentally unstable followers and Antifa types who believe they can assault their political opponents, so I am aware of their SOP and I don't give them an inch. 😉
