@clouduarte @kqteharker yeah, aveyard did a tiktok saying plagiarism was too hard to prove to pursue legal action, but given the direct lines stolen + the fact that she advertised powerless as “the lovechild of red queen and the huger games” i can’t believe it wouldn’t be a cut and dry case?

@kqteharker i'd been wondering the same thing when i learned that it might be because plagiarism is apparently really hard to prove in court ? like idk how this could NOT be considered plagiarism but ppl r saying it's generally difficult to prove plagiarism. lauren robber deserves to b sued

i read ya books bc i became disabled young and quit reading for like ten years bc of it and i’m trying to read the ones i missed but i can’t read more than one or two at a time or i start Really noticing the age of the characters and i don’t like that!

this is going to sound pretentious but i don’t know how adults read YA novels and YA novels only. i’m reading one now because a friend recommended it to me and it’s not bad at all, but its so clearly meant for teenagers. i can’t imagine choosing to only read books at this level.
