I'll say something I've noticed after working with some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the space... From people making $20k a month... with people making $3,5M a month.... The key to their success? Their ability to perform at their peak, for long periods of time, without burning out. And that's what I've helped them do. I can bet that you can work 12-15 hours a day. You can easily do that for a few weeks or months and get ahead of your competition.. but at what cost? You'll crash and burnout afterwards, needing to go to a "Marbella trip" for 3 months to recover with Margaritas and latinas. OR you can simply learn how to sustain peak performance for LONG periods of time WITHOUT burning out. While still having the time to work out, travel and enjoy life... And to be able to maintain high levels of performance without burning out, you need a system... A system that allows you to: a) Wake up with the maximum amount of energy, focus and mental clarity possible and b) Maintain that energy, focus and mental clarity for the whole day without crashing. Now the 80% rule is having a fixed bed-time and wake-up time, for 80% of the time… This is one of the strongest ways you can calibrate that big clock (SCN) in your brain to produce enough energy chemicals in the morning so that you feel as energized as you can…… and enough sleepiness chemicals at night so that you can recover as much as you can…. So 8/10 days… sleep and wake up at the same times..

Now, the reason most people struggle to focus…. is because they use their office to eat, play games, sleep, socialize AND work… this is a problem because it tricks your brain to start associating your workspace with all these non-work related behaviours… which will make entering flowstate, almost impossible…

Now, the way you control the SCN is by: a) Having a fixed bedtime and waketime for 9/10 days b) Viewing the sunrise and sunset daily c) Increasing your heartrate and body temperature as soon as you wake up in the morning with things like exercise, again… sunlight or cold showers. and d) staying away from bright overhead lights in the last 2-3 hours of the day.. That way, by doing these 4 things your SCN is able to know precisely when to produce cortisol, adrenaline and dopamine so that when you start working in the morning…. you are able to be as focused and alert as possible…
