@SteffanHamers I think that’s perfectly fair I like him as a person, I’ve seen his team play some lovely football, and I think he’s been put in an unfair position But unfortunately none of that matters at Chelsea and he’s been naive in ways that you really can’t come back from at this club

@Xperience_Snr Once you have that on your CV, that’s it really. Unless you coached a COMPLETE disaster (relegation when starting in top 6), clubs still know you’re smart & have potential and it just didn’t work out at that club

The amount of money he'll make after leaving Chelsea, even if he stays at Strasbourg for years, he'll not see it. Most times, is not just about the money too. Potter is in a great position right now. Villa Boas is a president in a Portuguese club. Amorim will land another great job. Coaching these big clubs regardless of the outcome lands them bigger opportunities in the future. I don't know how it works but it does.

Are managers not allowed to say no when these big clubs approach them? Amorim, Potter, Alonso & now Rosenior… once you flop at a big club that’s your reputation completely ruined, managers rarely ever bounce back.
