Old Mumbaikars still say VT, not CSMT. Still say Flora Fountain, not Hutatma Chowk. Still say Bombay, not Mumbai. Some names just refuse to die. Which one do YOU still use? A. VT instead of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus B. Bombay instead of Mumbai C. Flora Fountain instead of Hutatma Chowk

Central Railway is set to enhance commuter comfort by introducing 14 new AC local train services on the Harbour Line from May 1. The move will convert existing non-AC services into air-conditioned ones, offering much-needed relief during Mumbai’s intense summer heat and daily rush hours. With this expansion, the total number of AC services on Central Railway will rise significantly, including a boost on the Harbour Line. The initiative is expected to reduce overcrowding, improve travel experience, and provide a more comfortable and efficient commute for thousands of daily passengers.

एकेकाळी मुंबई आणि पुण्याला स्वतःची वेगळी ओळख होती . १६०किमी अंतर आणि ५ तास प्रवास असल्याने एकमेकांशी संबंध कमी होता. मिसिंग लिंक मुळे प्रवासाचा वेळ २ तासावर आला आहे. पनवेलला बोरीवली पेक्षा हिंजवडी जवळ झाले आहे. हा मुंबईच्या संस्कृतीवर पुण्याचा प्रभाव वाढवण्याचा कुटील डाव आहे.
