In 2018 we released the gamebook Guardian Maia Episode 1. In 2021 we released the second gamebook Guardian Maia Episode 2. Now we're almost ready to release the third and final part of Maia's epic journey. The full and complete story is coming soon. #maoristories #guardianmaia

So @GuardianMaia was hands down my favourite game at #PAXAus. I get to play a badass, thick-thighed warrior woman and ride a moa who can kick down enemies as I journey through lush NZ scenery?! Horizon Zero Dawn meets Red Dead with indigenous excellence. Give me more now thnx

Damn that’s crazy. Anyways check out @GuardianMaia. It’s a Māori videogame with a Māori director with Māori games devs like myself who collaborate with actual Ta Moko Artists to apply Moko to our characters in a way that actually relates to their whakapapa. Very chur stuff 😤
