@jeffpatton Thanks for sharing this Jeff! I've been looking after scaling topic you mentioned earlier and this writing captures many aspects well! OSS model reminds me early Maemo/Meego times when teams had option to fork other teams work in case they had to temporarily move "faster"...

@jeffpatton @jboogie "There is allways too much to"... learn. I found your handbook super handy after spring workshop at Stockholm. It has helped to dive deeper from holistic picture you painted live. Energy and inspiration was probably best outcome for me.

Thanks for this Pia! spot on. We need to fix our agenda - there’s no way we can teach all the stuff promised in 2 days. And, your feedback helps us make some improvements. Mostly me - @jboogie’s been scolding me to thin out content for a while to give people time to think. :-)

Good points about roles in sw dev. Roles can build silos and bottlenecks. And easily lead to hierarchical thinking. Start with goals instead. And agree actions to solve problems as team or community. Teams should have enough diversity to deal with variety. villetormala.com/dont-start-wit…
