Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 Two stray elephants that had been evading Parks and Wildlife rangers in Zaka district were finally shot and killed yesterday (April 16) in Goko area, Ward 15, Zaka South. The elephants were first spotted on April 14, around 3am in the Chipfuti area (Ward 24), and later near Charuka around 5am. Rangers were deployed to the area, but the elephants remained elusive until they were cornered and killed in Goko.

I have seen the spirit of giving alive in the rural setting. People , who many on here, would call “Poor” , noticed this was our first year on the ground, so everyday we get gifts of Nyimo, Nzungu, Avocados, Mangos, Chibage… it’s very very humbling. People without a “dollar” to their name have given us more “VALUE” than any of the Gazillionaires in my phone book.

@zenzele We don't need to blame the recruiters, what is the government saying why are they not running campaigns inform pple about the dangers. In fact there is need to unpack those recruiters and we might not be surprised why the government is silent

Some Zimbabweans are paying recruiters US$500 dollars to be sent to fight in Russia and obviously these recruiters are paid commission by who ever they work for .It raises serious questions about the networks behind this and the desperation driving people to take such risks. These recruiters are something else.
