@ma33499357 @DougieCritchley It's a shame there's not an opportunity to make changes to our playing squad prior to next season. A window of opportunity if you will

@DougieCritchley Sunderland are going down this season. Massively out-scorinh their XG. Nicking points when continually playing very poorly. These things catch up with teams eventually.

Points won last 5 Premier League games: 1) Forest: 13 2) Leeds: 11 3) Bournemouth: 11 4) Man City: 11 5) Brighton: 10 6) Man United: 10 7) Liverpool: 9 8) Arsenal: 9 9) Aston Villa: 7 10) West Ham: 7 11) Spurs: 7 12) Fulham: 7 13) Sunderland: 7 14) Brentford: 6 15) Everton: 5 16) Crystal Palace: 5 17) Newcastle: 3 18) Wolves: 2 19) Burnley: 0 20) Chelsea: 0 Couple of notable things: -Chelsea are rock bottom. Their goal difference of -12, is 2 worse than Burnley's. That is MENTAL. -Vitor Pereira... FAIR PLAY -Newcastle... wow. -Any Sunderland fans panicking about our recent form, only 7 sides have picked up more points in our last 5 games. Even when "we're struggling" we're picking up easily enough points. -Forest, Spurs, West Ham, currently 16th, 17th and 18th rank 1st, 11th and 10th in that run... they're all in decent form!

@Salibasexual02 @ashleymcduff2 Big clubs have a long line of customers wanting tickets, not fans. City have one of the better core fanbases in the country, hence why they averaged about 30k when they were in the third tier.

@ashleymcduff2 No, they mock that you have no fanbase, if you supported a big club and didn’t go, someone would take your place, if you don’t go now, there will be empty seats. Thats what people point out.

Wembley again!! £125 a ticket £60 train £60 10 moretti’s £200 for a 8 ball £200 for a brass £150 hotel Nearly £800 to watch grown men kick a bag of air about. And people try to mock us for ticket sales. This is the real reality of match going fans.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🗣️ Mark Lawrenson on the BBC: “Well I’m 65 and a white male, so I was let go. Has it gone woke? It is top of the woke league. They are frightened to death, absolutely and totally frightened to death. You saw the stuff with Gary Lineker last season and obviously people at the head of the BBC, I think day by day, I think the integrity of the corporation gets chipped off. It used to be absolutely fantastic but they are woke, plus 100%.”

York City Football Club would like to make the following comment regarding one of our players in the aftermath of our last-minute goal at Rochdale. The ending to Saturday’s game at Rochdale has, understandably, been seen around the world and held up as an example of what is so special about our game. The fans played a huge part in that, and for all those in the stadium, it was a unique emotional rollercoaster that will never be forgotten. Given that emotion and the stakes involved, we appreciate the enormous challenges that came with policing and securing a game of such obvious importance. In front of a passionate, sell-out crowd, those challenges became even more significant when the game concluded in the way that it did. The safety of players, staff, officials, and fans must always be the priority, and it is important to recognise all those in the stadium who worked to ensure that was the case. It will be important in the coming days for there to be a proper reflection and assessment of the circumstances around the end of the game, what happened and what can be learned. As a club, we are committed to assisting with any review, and we will support all our players and staff in contributing to this. YCFC will be supporting Hiram through all proceedings. #YCFC🔴🔵

@SouthStandPies Surely you mean the most corrupt team in England in the last 10 years, as we all know they are not a big team and they have a small fan base, which no money will ever improve.

The most successful team in England in the last ten years and there were 10,000 empty Man City seats at Wembley. And that’s after they gave some to Southampton! Embarrassing. #MNCSOT

Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey should have been sent off against Tottenham, the Premier League's KMI Panel has said. Brobbey pushed Cristian Romero into keeper Antonin Kinsky but escaped a second yellow. Romero suffered a season-ending knee injury. 👇 bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

I can't believe what I've heard from Talksport this morning, Sunderland might sack their manager if they don't qualify for Europe this season. He's done an unbelievable job, that would be madness. 🤯
