MAC Energy just launched. The Beverage Forum, April 28. Let me rank the outlook. 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧: 𝗔+ This is the most credible formula play from a celebrity energy brand yet, maybe even premium energy drink overall. 200mg natural caffeine. 250mg Cognizin. 2g GoBHB active ketones. Sugar free. BHB (beta-hydroxybutyrate) is the ketone your liver produces when running on fat. It's a genuine alternative fuel source,brain-preferred, slower burning, no spike-crash cycle. Kenetik built an entire brand around it. Ketone-IQ raised serious VC money on it. MAC is putting it in a mass market RTD for the first time. The stack makes sense. Caffeine for acute performance. Cognizin (a clinically studied form of citicoline) for focus. Ketones for the sustained burn underneath. If the taste is good, the formula is a real differentiator, not a gimmick. Big additional asset: @MarcLobliner on board, industry veteran. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧: 𝗔 US c-store energy drink sales hit $16B in 2025. Up 10% YoY. The global category is tracking toward 90$B. Crucially: newer brands are growing fastest, even off smaller bases. The window for a challenger isn't closing, it's open. Alani Nu nearly doubled to $1.6B before Celsius acquired it. MAC enters a market that is actively rewarding functional differentiation and clean label positioning. Timing is not a problem. 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗: A McGregor is the most globally recognized combat sports figure alive. That's a distribution asset, not just a marketing one. His name opens doors, retailers, distributors, media, that would take most brands years to knock on. The risk is obvious: celebrity energy brands burn bright and fade fast (see: Prime's 65% sales collapse once the hype cycle ended). But here's what's different: he's not just the face, he's positioned as the founder. He was on stage at The Beverage Forum. He's talking BHB science on X. He's showing up like a builder, not a licensor. That changes the brand longevity calculus. 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: 𝗕 (𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲) July 12 launch date. Flavors: Forbidden Green Apple, Proper Punch, Orange Creamsicle. No distribution partner announced publicly yet. This is the make-or-break. The graveyard of celebrity beverage brands is full of great formulas that couldn't get shelf space. Monster's dominance in c-stores and Red Bull's direct distribution model took decades to build. A new entrant needs either a major distributor deal (think Keurig Dr Pepper, Reyes) or a DTC-first strategy that generates enough pull to earn shelf placement. If @TheNotoriousMMA has a credible route to market, the B becomes an A fast. (Plus huge track record with Proper) 𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗦: 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 BHB at scale is hard to formulate palatably, taste is the category's historic Achilles heel. The ketone claim needs to hold up at 2g per can (clinical studies typically use 10g+). Regulatory scrutiny on functional claims is tightening everywhere. None of these are fatal. All of them are execution problems, not structural ones. 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸: A- Best formula play in celebrity energy since Celsius. The market wants exactly what MAC is describing. The founder is doing the work. Distribution is the only unknown. Let’s watch the July 12 launch closely. $drinkmac

Voting for Trump because Harris was so bad doesn’t make you MAGA. It makes you sensible. But yes, I do want America to be great.
