The controls are complicated, fiddly, and the mapping is a little odd - X to jump when you have to tap A to run quickly.
However, I can already feel a certain charm to the game. It’s a very beautiful and interactive world ☺️

Played about an hour last night and the game runs reasonably in balanced (40fps) or quality (30fps) mode, but is way too blurry in performance mode.
I’m usually one for higher fps, but the trade-off in resolution just isn’t worth it yet. Hopefully they can optimise it 🤞🏻

I’ve never stayed up for a review embargo before 🤯
Crimson Desert really intrigues me, even more so reading Jesse’s review, but I may have to check out console performance and some video reviews before I take the plunge 🙂
Xbox Play Anywhere makes it very tempting though…

A mediocre plot and bland writing can't hold back one of the most ambitious games ever made. Stunning graphics, great gameplay, and excellent music carry you through hundreds of hours of systems-based fun.
