@DismasWaTabu @bienaimesol isn't it interesting how they chose bien specifically after a good musical run and doing shows globally recently?? they knew he has a positive face in many agreeable minds...damn these people!!!
English

Dear @bienaimesol
"Presence is not submission" is a great line. But the African chiefs who signed away our land to colonialists were also just "present at a meeting." Didn't end well for us.
This is France we're talking about. The same France that still forces 14 African countries to pay them money every year for being colonized. They named their summit "Africa Forward", forward into whose pocket exactly?
They didn't call you because they value your African voice. They called you because nothing makes an exploitation party look innocent like a talented African bald man with a guitar and a big smile. You were the decoration. The proof that everything was fine. The vibe.
While you performed, the real business was happening in the next room and your presence told the world "don't worry, the Africans are happy."
Now we all love you Bien. Nobody wants to say it. But when you're the only African smiling that hard in a room full of French officials, Uncle Ruckus starts feeling like a close relative. The man also believed he was simply "building bridges."
You were not a guest at that table my friend.
You were the entertainment.
There's a difference between having a seat at the table and being served *as* the meal. Next time find out which one you are before you tune your guitar.

Kenya needs a new President - they deserve better than William Ruto
African@ali_naka
Kenyans owe Africa an Apology
English

The Gen Zs hate William Ruto & can't wait to remove him out of office in 2027.
The Millenials don't want anything to do with William Ruto & they can't wait to vote him out in 2027.
The church don't want anything to do with William Ruto & they no longer want to be associated with him.
The mama mboga are the most frustrated people who voted for Ruto & in 2027 they will be the first ones to remove him out of office.
Newspapers have nothing good to report on William Ruto & they can't wait for him to be out of office.
TV stations no longer want interviews with William Ruto.
The kids hate William Ruto & they call him Kasongo.
Kenyans can't wait to have a new president in 2027.

High school fees across Kenya are rising sharply, and parents are feeling it.
For example, Limuru Girls High School fees have moved from KSh 53,000 to KSh 98,000, while Kenya High School is now reportedly above KSh 120,000. (evidence attached below)
And this doesn’t look isolated. It seems to be happening across the country.
If you have a child in secondary school and fees have been increased, please share the fee structure (or details) with me.
We need to document this and amplify it so the Ministry of Education (Kenya) and the government can respond.
But we also need to ask: why are schools increasing fees? Is it mismanagement, inflation, or because capitation is too little to sustain schools?
Govt is sending about KSh 4,000 per student. That is clearly not enough. And once again, Parliament needs to intervene on funding
Let’s get the facts out.

I know many will disagree with me on this, but hear me out.
Safaricom under Bob Collymore felt different.
It felt simpler, more innovative, and more customer-focused.
When Bob was in charge, many Kenyans felt proud of what Safaricom was becoming.
But ever since he passed, something seems to have shifted.
The decisions feel less connected to customers, and products like OneApp only deepen that feeling.
Maybe I’m wrong.
But I can’t be the only one who feels Safaricom lost part of its soul after Bob.

Kenya deserves leaders of integrity, not endless controversy.
@rigathi Gachagua rose to high office under a cloud of serious corruption allegations involving billions of shillings. Even the courts have questioned the source of his wealth.
But this story did not begin there.
In 1997, he was dismissed from the civil service while serving as a District Officer in Laikipia over gross misconduct. A matter he has never fully explained to the public.
In July 2021, he was arrested by the DCI at his Nyeri home over allegations of money laundering and abuse of office, tied to vast sums of money flowing through accounts associated with him.
Even within his own family, disputes have spilled into the open. Relatives of the late Nyeri Governor, Nderitu Gachagua, have raised concerns over the handling of a multibillion-shilling estate. Claims that remain contested, but serious enough to demand clarity.
Then came the unthinkable. For the first time in our history, a sitting Deputy President was impeached by constitutional institutions over violations of oath, divisive rhetoric and conduct deemed unfit for office.
This is a pattern that raises urgent questions:
Can we trust leadership weighed down by persistent integrity concerns?
Can a nation unite under divisive politics?
Can accountability mean anything if we ignore such a record?
I have challenged the impeached former Deputy President to state clear facts and stand firmly on integrity. If he wishes to lecture the nation, he must be ready to answer every question, not just the convenient ones.
